About

Celtic Breeze Publishing is an imprint of the Order of St Leonard (OSL); a global Christian charity dedicated to ‘Oneness’ – bringing together Christians from around the world for the relief of poverty, to train and equip leaders, to bring freedom and clarity of purpose, and to use our resources for the good of humanity. We believe that what connects us is far greater and more powerful than what divides us. Our collective faith, good works, vision for the lost and capacity (given that there are over 34,000 denominations) is vast. OSL provides an opportunity for everyone to come together, to share resources and purpose.

OSL was established in 2009 by Rt Revd Dr David Carr OBE, OSL, EKHC, with a vision to ‘open the old wells’ – to look at the foundations of the church and to incorporate the Evangelical, Charismatic, Sacramental and Liturgical – reflecting on the early church and including Celtic Christianity. All traditions and expressions of worship are respected and welcomed.

Members do not have to leave their own church or stream, but can journey with OSL to support their ministry. OSL also provides both chaplaincy and theological training and ordains ministers.

OSL’s leadership is headed by Bishop David Carr, supported by his House of Bishops, Chapter of Canons, Regional Deans and Trustees. The membership extends to countries around the world, with members and member churches in the United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, The United States, India, Australia and Europe – with international membership now extending to over 2 million Christians.

The Order has established training and education, equipped Pastors in developing nations to build churches in remote areas, including the Maasai in Kenya – and provided the funds for bibles to be translated into the Nupe language in Nigeria. OSL has supported schools for children in India and Pakistan, work projects, food programmes and leadership conferences. Bishop David has written and trained aspiring chaplains on the hugely popular chaplaincy training in the United Kingdom, with many chaplains now serving hospital and communities throughout the country.

All profits from the products sold by Celtic Breeze Publishing are used to further the work of OSL’s ministry – both in the UK and around the world.

We would love to hear from you and to tell you more about our vision for the church and for the world – and would encourage you to consider joining us as a friend of the Order, or as a minister or church partner.  Please visit us at www.orderofstleonard.org or email admin@orderofstleonard.org
